Good Evening Lovies,

It’s been a while since I last posted to you guys. There is so much to talk about. One must not be comfortable in being stagnate, meaning stepping out of your comfort zone. For instance, a random thought came to my mind like always which a vision then followed. I said to myself it’s time to do more with your brand. Therefore I contacted my brand developer whom has the same mindset as myself only a few words needed to be said “Do you think I need to develop a Website” her response was “Definitely”!

Needless to say I’m very eager to experience more with my brand that has never been done before. Honestly, after turning “41” I’m no longer fearful of what might not happen but what could happen. The next level of your life will require more of you. “Originality” is a very important aspect of my personality. One of my many favorite Soul singers by the name of Choklate has this song called “Carbon Copy”. The hook of the song states Just do you nobody can do me like I do me & Imma just do me cause I don’t want wanna be a carbon copy”!!! In essence, there was a situation about that happened that caused me to raise my brows when I posted something regarding a particular singer/songwriter that I’ve been a fan of for some time. I posted information about her new music that had been trending on social media. Ordinarily, I will make a brief statement regarding the post and tag the source. As a result, while scrolling through my timeline I saw the same exact picture that I posted with the same exact words from my page.  Outraged was beyond how I truly felt. Because of the audacity behind the person who performed such act but to make matters worse you didn’t even tag the source where you got it from which was from my page. In fact, once I called this person out on the act this person lied about it which let me further know you didn’t have any intentions to tag me as the source in the first place.

Given these points you have to very mindful of the people that you have following you on social media such as Instagram. People will follow your account to try to pick up some ideas or pointers based off your creativity. For those people I like to call them “Dry Haters”. The Instagram account that I have for this blog is considered a small account which is growing at a even pace. In the same fashion there will be larger accounts who will follow you then copy your ideas and/or style based on your content. It’s not flattering by no means but rather disgusting. Generally speaking, it’s one thing to be inspired but to flat out copy of someone else is just childish. In light of this experience it’s nothing more than preparation of things to come as well as how I will react to such tests. Remind yourself that what God has for you it’s for you only. Every new level of your life will demand a different you.

By the same token I would like to venture into the Youtube channel arena. Therefore I want to develop a channel for this blog relating to fashion, natural hair care product features and/or suggestions & more. Basically bringing an actual visual of topics that I post on this blog. Just to the next level of course. Another goal of mine is to show more of myself. I’m proud of the work that has been done thus far. In fact I like to feature more of myself wearing other brands to bring awareness to upcoming small business companies. For the most part, I can’t wait to get started on my new ventures for 2017 the best is yet to come. Stay tuned…………
