June 25th marks the 8th Anniversary the world lost one of the biggest influences & entertainer that has ever graced the stage. Michael Jackson meant so much to so many people around the world. He has blessed us with so much timeless hits from Thriller, Bad, Man In The Mirror, Billie Jean, Remember The Time, Dirty Diana, Give Into Me, Black Or White and much more. I remember getting the call from a former boss saying he passed away. My first response was like “Michael Jackson who???”. As a young girl growing up in the 80’s Michael was my first love in music. In the same fashion I had so many Michael Jackson items for instance: T-Shirts, Doll, View Master, Books, Albums, Posters everything. I remember watching Motown 25 with my mom when he first introduced the “Moonwalk”. Both myself & my mom was super excited to witness history in the making. Consequently I wasn’t too thrilled about that “Thriller” video, needless to say scared me to death. I took down all my posters after that. (laughs)

Michael commanded the status at an early age & captivated his audience up until his untimely death. Micheal will always be special to me my favorite Album will always be “Thriller” because that’s wear it all started for me. Moreover he was just a beautiful man, every one of us has something about ourselves that we are insecure of. No matter how many surgeries were performed I still thought he was amazing. As I’m writing this blog post currently listening to “Lady In My Life”. Words can’t describe how this song still moves me like I just heard for the first time as a little girl. It’s very unfortunate of all the anguish he endured during his career. The man gave so much of himself as well as his fortune to help children just people who were in need.

Michael Joseph Jackson will always be remembered as one of the greatest entertainers in the world. There will never be another one like him. Rest well MJJ!!
